I am perplexed by the idea of there being disunity in the body of Christ. I suppose I’m not really surprised giving that churches are still made up of people and people have problems…but complete disunity should never be seen in God’s churches. Perhaps if we quit worrying about our pride and feelings and more about the reputation of Christ that we carry with us, superficial squables will take a backseat to the furtherance of the Gospel and the Church collective could actually fulfill the purpose to which it was called. We need to remember who we are and where we came from. The Church is not a social club or a political campaign. If you weren’t cool in high school, don’t try to make up for it here and if you need to be praised and obeyed find another outlet. There is a reason we call it the House of God and the Body of Christ…it’s not ours. It’s time for us to start acting like it. Grace and Peace,
